Issue 122: On food cravings and missing the time Before

Hello all,

When I took this photo, it was the last real time I remember gathering with a group of friends. My friend living in San Francisco’s Russian Hill hosted a dinner party where she cooked Indo-Portuguese food, such as stuffed dates, a fish dish called bacalhau, a sausage dish called linguiça, a rice dish called pulao, and Portuguese egg tarts.
